Penn Virginia Corporation to Present at the 2008 RBC Capital Markets Energy Conference

Penn Virginia Corporation (NYSE:PVA) announced today that it will make a presentation at the 2008 RBC Capital Markets Energy Conference on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 in New York.

James Dearlove, President and Chief Executive Officer, and Frank A. Pici, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will present at the conference. An overview of PVA's operations, including a discussion of strategy and recent activities, will be presented at the conference and related investor meetings.
