Penn Virginia Corporation to Participate in Upcoming Investor Conferences

RADNOR, Pa.-- Penn Virginia Corporation (NYSE: PVA) announced today that it will participate in three upcoming investor conferences.

PVA will participate in the 38th Annual Energy Conference, hosted by Howard Weil Inc., and other investor meetings in New Orleans from Monday, March 22 through Wednesday, March 24, 2010. PVA's presentation time is scheduled for 3:05 p.m. ET on Tuesday, March 23, 2010. A. James Dearlove, President and Chief Executive Officer will present an overview of PVA's operations, including a discussion of strategy and recent activities, in the conference presentation and related investor meetings.

In addition, PVA will participate in the Barclays Capital 2010 High Yield Bond and Syndicated Loan Conference in Phoenix on Thursday, March 25, 2010. PVA's presentation time is scheduled for 1:10 p.m. ET. Steven A. Hartman, Vice President and Treasurer, will present an overview of PVA's operations, including a discussion of strategy and recent activities in the conference presentation and related investor meetings.

PVA will also participate in the 2010 Oil & Gas Investment Symposium (OGIS), hosted by the Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA), and other investor meetings in New York on Monday, April 12 and Tuesday, April 13, 2010. PVA's presentation time is scheduled for 4:35 p.m. ET on Monday, April 12, 2010. H. Baird Whitehead, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer will present an overview of PVA's operations, including a discussion of strategy and recent activities, in the conference presentation and related investor meetings.
