Penn Virginia Corporation to Participate in Upcoming Investor Conferences

RADNOR, Pa.-- Penn Virginia Corporation (NYSE: PVA) announced today that it will participate in three upcoming investor conferences.

PVA will participate in EnerCom's The Oil & Services ConferenceTM VIII in San Francisco on Thursday, February 18, 2010. PVA's presentation time is scheduled for 1:55 p.m. ET (10:55 a.m. PT). James W. Dean, Vice President, Corporate Development, will present an overview of PVA's operations, including a discussion of strategy and recent activities in the conference presentation and related investor meetings. Pici, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will present an overview of PVA's operations, including a discussion of strategy and recent activities in the conference presentation and related investor meetings.

PVA will also participate in the Simmons & Company International's Tenth Annual Energy Conference in Las Vegas on Tuesday, March 2, 2010. Mr. Dean will present an overview of PVA's operations, including a discussion of strategy and recent activities in investor meetings.
